It really goes without saying, but the internet has truly changed the meaning of work. Carefully choose your destinations When it comes to combining work and travel, itâs all too tempting to listen to your heart over your head and simply choose the destinations that really appeal to your desires. It may sound like a dream to sip on a coconut on a deserted island with turquoise waters and white-sand beaches, but is it realistic? Start honing your time management skills Being a successful digital nomad is all about mastering time management, as managing your time effectively is arguably one of the most challenging parts of being a nomad, and itâs easy to see why. First and foremost, start working on your time management skills long before you set off on this new chapter of your life. Get into the rhythm of setting goals for each day, as well as weekly deadlines to ensure you get your work done on time. The earlier you train yourself into such a routine, the easier it will be to follow it even when you are travelling the world. 4.
